1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Service govern access to the public Web by Mateen website and, where access is granted, use of Mateen Freelance OS at crm.webbymateen.com. By using the website or an authorized CRM account, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The public pages describe services and product capabilities. A custom development project, purchase, license or paid engagement is subject to the separate written scope, price and agreement accepted for that engagement.
2. Accounts and access
Mateen Freelance OS may be made available by private invitation, demo access or an account approved by the operator. Access is not guaranteed merely because a public product page exists. You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential and restrict access to authorized team members.
You are responsible for actions taken through your account and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized use. We may limit, suspend or revoke access when necessary to protect security, prevent misuse or enforce these terms.
3. Responsible use and outreach
You may use the CRM to organize business records, prepare outreach, manage clients, track projects, send approved communications and use other available functions for lawful professional purposes.
You must not use the service for spam, phishing, deception, harassment, unlawful data collection, privacy violations, unauthorized access, malware, or any activity prohibited by applicable laws or third-party platform policies. You are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis for processing prospect and customer information, and for complying with anti-spam, marketing and privacy rules relevant to your recipients.
4. Connected services and Gmail
Optional integrations, including Gmail and LinkedIn features, require authorization with the relevant provider. If you enable Gmail sending, Mateen Freelance OS requests the limited gmail.send permission and sends messages only through the connected account when the authorized user invokes the send function. You are responsible for reviewing message recipients and content before sending.
Third-party services remain governed by their own terms, usage limits, availability and consent requirements. You can revoke an integration through the relevant provider's account controls. Our Privacy Policy explains what Google user data is accessed, used, stored or shared.
5. Your content and records
You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality and rights relating to content you upload, enter or send through your workspace. You should not upload unnecessary sensitive information or material you do not have permission to use.
By submitting material for processing within the service, you authorize us and necessary infrastructure providers to host, transmit and process it to operate the requested functions. This does not transfer ownership of your original business records to Web by Mateen.
6. Product ownership and project work
The Web by Mateen website design, Mateen Freelance OS software, brand assets, text and interface elements remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights unless a separate agreement provides otherwise. You may not redistribute the software or copy protected parts of the product without permission.
Ownership and licensing of bespoke deliverables, such as a client website or a custom CRM build, must be set out in that project's individual written agreement.
7. Availability, changes and support
We work to keep the website and CRM functional, but some features may change, be unavailable, require maintenance or depend on external providers. Preview, demo and experimental features may be updated or withdrawn. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
For project support or operational issues, contact info@webbymateen.com. Specific support response times and service commitments apply only when agreed separately in writing.
8. Fees and engagements
Using the public website to learn about services does not create a paid contract. If you request custom development, access to a paid service or a commercial deliverable, pricing, payment stages, scope, acceptance criteria, maintenance and termination terms will be agreed separately. We do not represent the private CRM demo as an automatically available public subscription.
9. Responsibility and limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without an unconditional guarantee of business results, deliverability, search rankings, software compatibility or permanent availability. You should keep your own appropriate business backups and verify important actions, including email delivery and payment records.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any project-specific warranties or remedies are controlled by the relevant written project agreement and applicable law.
10. Ending access and updating these terms
You may stop using the website or request account closure by contacting us. We may suspend access to protect the service or respond to serious breaches. Data requests are handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current published version. The laws of Pakistan generally apply to the operation of Web by Mateen, without limiting mandatory rights that may apply to users elsewhere.
